Ski jumping

Salt Lake 2002’s Utah Olympic Park saw ski jumpers reach 55 miles per hour in the in-run before launching for a flight of two and a half football fields. They were exciting feats, but made even more so by the outcomes of the K90 and K120 Individual, both won by Harry Potter look-alike Simon Ammann. “To carry on quietly,” said Ammann of his attempt to live a normal life upon returning home to Switzerland. “That’s the only way to go about ski jumping.”
